Director of Marketing (Growth Marketing Focus)

Driven by sweeping industry transformation worldwide to combat climate change, we are growing rapidly and looking for a talented growth marketing expert to lead our marketing strategy development and execution. Your main duties are to generate demand,  build sales funnel, improve conversion rate, and increase revenue. Responsibilities: 

  • Work with cross functional teams to develop and execute growth strategies to support GridX’s customer acquisition and revenue goals
  • Create, manage and experiment with customer outreach campaigns to target list of customers
  • Conceive and execute on a wide range of content campaigns to drive education and engagement
  • Manage all social media platforms and drive content creation
  • Strategize and execute Account-Based Marketing programs to nurture Enterprise leads
  • Work with Sales team to define funnel including MQL and SQL qualifications and hand-offs
  • Analyze data to monitor campaign performance and uncover areas for improvement
  • Prepare and present recommendations, reports, and findings from experimental data all the way up to the executive level
  • Possess the aptitude to understand complex technology & services and articulate their value to customers in concise and compelling marketing messages
  • Be a marketing jack-of-all-trades in a startup company environment
  • Develop marketing collateral for distribution across multiple channels
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows 

 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, growth marketing in B2B Enterprise Software/SaaS industry
  • Strong track record in generating demand and driving sales-led growth, with samples and results of past campaigns
  • Experience with energy/utility/renewables markets preferred but not required
  • Experience and successful track record of developing and executing marketing programs and initiatives
  • Experience with working with partners to develop joint marketing programs
  • Outstanding written, oral and organizational ability 
  • Strong desire to work with sales and business development teams to achieve sales growth
  • Keen interest in understanding technology and the customer’s needs with the ability to identify and explain technology and product benefits and differentiation
  • Proven analytical skills to conduct market analysis and develop growth marketing plans
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Photoshop, Mailchimp and Hootsuite (or other social media management systems)
  • BS/BA degree, MBA preferred
